Microlise is delighted to announce that for the second year running, it has been awarded the highly prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise.
Having secured the award for International Trade in 2018, Microlise has received a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in 2019 for Innovation, in recognition of Microlise’s leadership and pioneering development of driver performance technologies, which has resulted in fleet operators being empowered to reduce fuel usage, increase efficiency and improve safety standards.
Speaking after the announcement, Microlise Chief Executive Officer, Nadeem Raza said: “Innovation is in our DNA and underpins our credentials as a global leader in telematics and transport management solutions. For almost forty years, we have invested in research and development to develop real-time customer solutions that support both driver safety and operational efficiency.”
“We’re delighted to have once again been honoured with a Queen’s Award for Enterprise, in recognition of the dedication, hard work and commitment of our 480 strong team.”
The annual Queen’s Award for Enterprise initiative is the UK’s most prestigious business awards, recognising and celebrating business excellence across the UK. Microlise is one of just 61 businesses to be recognised in the Innovation category nationally, and is one of only seven in the East Midlands area where the business is based.
Microlise designs, develops and creates technology solutions to capture data and create meaningful insight covering areas such as driver performance, vehicle usage and safety standards. These software and hardware products help fleets to reduce the cost and environmental impact of their fleet operations while helping transport service providers and retailers to deliver an excellent customer experience.
Microlise is a pioneer of logistics and telematics technology and has been delivering enterprise grade solutions for the road transport sector since 1999. The company works with two of Europe’s leading truck manufacturers, as well as with JCB and with Tata Motors in India. It has in excess of 500,000 active subscriptions in 196 countries around the world.

An award-winning privately owned business, Microlise invests significantly in ongoing research and development to ensure its solutions continue to be underpinned by market-leading technology.
Every year in May, Microlise hosts the Microlise Transport Conference.
