Coach House chooses Microlise to support next phase of transport growth

Building a more connected, scalable transport operation.

Coach House moves to a more connected transport operation

We’re pleased to announce that Coach House will roll out our Planning & Optimisation, Journey Management and SmartPOD solutions across its 20 HGVs, helping replace paper-based processes and bring separate systems together to improve visibility, planning efficiency and control.

The agreement, signed in July 2026, marks the start of a new partnership focused on streamlining day-to-day transport operations while creating a scalable platform that can develop alongside the business.

Moving away from manual processes

Coach House currently manages its transport operation through a mix of technology platforms and manual processes. While this has supported the business to date, continued growth has increased the need for a more integrated approach.

By bringing key workflows into one system, the first phase of the project will help Coach House reduce duplicated effort, improve utilisation of transport resources and give teams access to better-quality operational data.

The implementation will also introduce digital workflows for drivers and SMS delivery notifications for customers, improving visibility throughout each journey while reducing manual administration for both planners and drivers.

Building a platform for growth

In phase one, Coach House will bring Journey Management, Electronic Proof of Delivery and Fleet Telematics into one, unified system. This will give the team more consistent operational information, support more efficient planning and provide customers with more timely delivery updates.

Looking further ahead, the implementation also creates the foundation for Coach House to extend its use of Microlise technology across areas such as planning and optimisation, compliance, fleet management, vehicle checks, tachograph management, telematics and camera technology.

Supporting long-term transport development

Speaking about the partnership, Danny Bovingdon, Director at Coach House, said:

“Our transport operation has evolved alongside the growth of the business, and we want to build on that success by reducing manual processes and giving our team better visibility and information.

“Microlise stood out because it can support what we need today while giving us the flexibility to develop our transport technology over the longer term. We expect the new platform to help reduce planning and administration, improve visibility and utilisation across the fleet and give our customers better information about their deliveries.”

Nadeem Raza, CEO at Microlise added:

“Coach House has built a successful transport operation, and as the business continues to grow, it needs technology that can grow with it.

“By bringing key transport processes together, our technology will give the team greater visibility of deliveries while making day-to-day work simpler for planners and drivers. Just as importantly, it will provide a scalable foundation for Coach House to continue developing its transport operation as its requirements evolve.”

A clearer view of every journey

For Coach House, the move to a more connected transport platform is about supporting the business as it continues to grow, while giving teams and customers clearer information throughout the delivery process.

By digitising key workflows and bringing journey visibility, delivery execution and performance data together, we’re helping Coach House create a transport operation that is simpler to manage today and ready to evolve for the future.
