Brit European Embarks on a bold strategy

In 2011, transport operator Brit European embarked on an ambitious strategy to tackle the post recession market. Rather than scale back, the company launched its Environmental Efficiency Project – a bold plan to use equipment design, aerodynamics, technology and staff training to reduce its environmental impact and increase operational efficiency. Since then they have also adopted dual fuel vehicles, running on both diesel and compressed natural gas.
