Integrating our Transport Management System (TMS) with HaulageHub, makes it easier for joint customers to complete jobs.
Our new integration with HaulageHub, the UK’s leading digital freight marketplace, is supporting thousands of hauliers to help cut CO2 emissions and increase operational efficiency.
Working with HaulageHub makes it easier for customers using our Transport Management System (TMS) to share opportunities across platforms, whilst also automating delivery progress with shared ETAs and paperwork.
Why Haulage Hub?
Almost 90% of goods are moved by road which we know results in significant carbon emissions. And 30% of those trips made by hauliers are done so without cargo. That equates to a staggering 5,000,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions – made annually – when trucks are running empty.
To help combat this, in 2021, Scott Robertson and Craig Thompson established HaulageHub, with the aim to address road transport’s inefficiencies and improve its environmental impact.
The HaulageHub online platform matches load opportunities with a haulier base of more than 1,500 companies and has already reduced emissions by lowering the average empty running rate to 19%.

Steve Watson, Product Director at Microlise, caught up with Haulage Hub co-founder, Scott Robertson at the Road Transport Expo, pictured above.
He said: “Our partnership with HaulageHub is a logical step. Our TMS simplifies operations for hauliers, and this seamless, friction-free integration makes it much easier for them to react and respond, preventing empty running and reducing emissions.
“The government’s target of reducing emissions by 81% from the 1990 base levels will be made significantly easier for hauliers who use our integration into the HaulageHub platform.”
Smarter, cleaner logistics
HaulageHub’s intelligent AI-matching ensures loads are assigned to the best-suited hauliers with available capacity – maximising efficiency and cutting down on wasteful miles. This all feeds directly into our execution visibility platforms, giving operators real-time oversight of consignments, whether delivered by owned fleets or subcontractors.

Delivering real results, for real businesses
Scott Robertson, from HaulageHub, commented, saying “We are already seeing success stories.
“A leading retail chain has successfully reduced its logistics-related carbon emissions by 21% in just one year of partnering with HaulageHub.”
Additionally, a mid-sized manufacturing firm managed to slash its emissions by 15% while saving significantly on logistics costs – all through smarter load consolidation and route optimisation.
This is just the beginning of what’s possible when technology and sustainability go hand-in-hand.
