A preventative approach to risk
We’re delighted to announce our new partnership with Streamax, bringing customers the next level of camera technology, including new AI-powered distraction cameras.
Driver distraction and fatigue remain two of the biggest contributors to road incidents. With distraction involved in around 80% of collisions and fatigue continuing to pose a serious risk, prevention must be the priority.
This partnership allows us to deliver a more intelligent, proactive approach to driver safety.
A fully integrated, multi-camera solution
The new inward-facing camera uses artificial intelligence to detect high-risk distracted behaviours in real time, alerting drivers instantly and helping reinforce safer driving habits. At the same time, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) monitor the road ahead, warning of potential hazards before they escalate.
By combining distraction and fatigue detection with ADAS technology, we’re supporting operators to move from reactive incident management to proactive risk reduction.
Beyond the AI distraction cameras, Streamax technology will form a core part of our multi-camera system. Our solution is designed to give fleet operators a complete view of their vehicles and drivers, integrating forward-facing, blind-spot, driver monitoring and additional camera options into one seamless platform.
Footage can be accessed quickly and easily, while high-quality video links directly with telematics data across our ecosystem. This creates a consistent, adaptable platform that supports safety, compliance and operational visibility from a single system.
For operators, this means:
- Better visibility of driver behaviour
- Faster incident resolution
- Clearer liability management
- Reduced risk and potential insurance savings
Importantly, with drivers found to be at fault in only around 25% of collisions, having clear, contextual video evidence helps protect drivers and provide reassurance when incidents occur.
Working together to improve safety outcomes
Speaking on the new partnership, Nadeem Raza, our CEO, said, “At Microlise, our goal is to use technology to help ensure everyone gets home safely at the end of their working day.
“Our partnership with Streamax allows us to deliver a powerful, intelligent solution that addresses real-world driver safety challenges.”
Bill Wang, CEO at Streamax, added, “Streamax thrives on working hand in hand with our customers, placing their success at the heart of our value. Partnering with Microlise allows us to turn AI-driven insights into tangible road safety outcomes, ensuring every journey is safer and more efficient for the world’s most demanding transport operations.”
Looking ahead
By embedding Streamax’s AI-driven video intelligence into our platform, we’re continuing to evolve our safety ecosystem – giving operators the tools they need to reduce risk, support drivers and build safer, more resilient fleets.
