Brexit Public Information Campaign Launched

One of the Government’s largest ever public information campaigns will see adverts running on TV, radio, social media and billboards.

A £100m public information campaign urging businesses and individuals to make sure they are prepared for Britain’s departure from the EU, has been launched by the Government.

The campaign will see “Get Ready for Brexit” adverts run on TV, radio, social media and billboards ahead of Brexit on 31 October.

The media promotes a website where people and businesses can check what, if anything, they need to do to be ready for Brexit. Users can fill in a questionnaire and are then given results which suggest how to start preparing.

The campaign aims to ensure that hauliers – as well as other affected business sectors – are provided with more detailed information.

The Road Haulage Association is also making available and constantly updating a range of resources to help hauliers and transport operators prepare for Brexit. Take a look at the “Brexit and the UK haulage industry – what’s next?” page on the RHA website.
