RHA To Run Policy Clinic & Workshop Programme at Microlise Transport Conference

The Road Haulage Association will be running a Policy Clinic at the Microlise Transport Conference, taking place on the 15th May at The Ricoh Arena in Coventry.

Taking place during the afternoon of Europe’s largest road transport conference, the RHA’s policy team, led by Policy Director Duncan Buchanan, will be on hand to speak to delegates about anything and everything transport related. Topics will include Brexit, low emission and clean air zones, compliance and skills.

“Our policy team work hard to understand the issues impacting the road transport industry, and advise our members and the wider community,” said RHA chief executive Richard Burnett.

“With over one thousand delegates, including business and operational leaders, we’re pleased to make our policy experts available to discuss any concerns they may have.”

Delegates who want to take advantage of the Policy Clinic can simply visit the RHA workshop area in the exhibition hall.

The RHA will also deliver a morning workshop programme, with presentations on three key issues; the Driver Shortage – Apprenticeships, Diversity & Inclusion; Clean Air Zones and Brexit – What’s Next?.

“We encourage our members and other professionals in the sector to attend the Microlise Transport Conference,” continued Burnett. “It’s a unique opportunity for learning, discussion and networking. The agenda this year is particularly strong, covering current issues and also offering visions of the future of the industry.

“It is very much a must-attend conference and we’re happy to support Microlise in delivering a forum for the industry to come together.”
