Microlise receives 2019 Queen’s Award for Enterprise: Innovation, from HRH Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, and The Lord-Lieutenant of Nottinghamshire

HRH Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, and the Lord Lieutenant of Nottinghamshire, Sir John Peace, have presented Microlise Chief Executive Officer Nadeem Raza and Business Development Director, Paul Jurevicius, with the 2019 Queen’s Award for Enterprise: Innovation, at Lenton House, Nottingham.

Having secured the Queen’s Award for Enterprise for International Export in 2018, Microlise received this year’s award in recognition of its leadership and pioneering development of driver performance technologies, which have resulted in fleet operators being empowered to reduce fuel usage, increase efficiency and improve safety standards.

Speaking after the ceremony, Microlise Chief Executive Officer, Nadeem Raza said: “Innovation is in our DNA and underpins our credentials as a global leader in telematics and transport management solutions.  For almost forty years, we have invested in research and development to develop real-time customer solutions that support both driver safety and operational efficiency.

“We’re delighted to have once again been honoured with a Queen’s Award for Enterprise, in recognition of the dedication, hard work and commitment of our 480 strong team.”

The annual Queen’s Award for Enterprise initiative is the UK’s most prestigious business awards, recognising and celebrating business excellence across the UK. Microlise is one of just 61 businesses to be recognised in the Innovation category nationally, and is one of only seven in the East Midlands area, where the business is based.

Microlise designs, develops and creates technology solutions which captures data and creates meaningful insights covering areas such as driver performance, vehicle usage and safety standards. These software and hardware products help fleets to reduce the cost and environmental impact of their fleet operations while helping transport service providers and retailers to deliver an excellent customer experience.

Microlise is a pioneer in logistics and telematics technology and has been delivering enterprise grade solutions to the road transport sector since 1999. The company works with two of Europe’s leading truck manufacturers, as well as with JCB and with Tata Motors in India. It has in excess of 500,000 connections to vehicles and machines across the world.
