The Role

The Regional Sales Director is a pivotal senior leadership role, responsible for accelerating revenue growth and scaling commercial success across the region. Combining strategic leadership with hands-on commercial execution, this role leads and inspires a high‑performing sales organisation, including Account Managers and New Logo Sales Representatives, to deliver sustained results. Designed to fuel Microlise’s continued growth in France, the role plays a critical part in aligning local go‑to‑market execution with broader international strategy. It marks a deliberate shift from individual contribution to a high‑impact, team‑led sales model, with end‑to‑end ownership of pipeline performance, forecasting, and results. The Regional Sales Director also acts as a connector across the business, strengthening cross‑functional collaboration to ensure seamless operational alignment and long‑term, scalable growth.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Own and execute the France regional sales strategy aligned to international GTM priorities
  • Deliver annual AMV targets across new business and customer expansion
  • Drive forecast accuracy, pipeline health, and sales cadence discipline
  • Champion best-in-class qualification through MEDDPICC
  • Lead regional pipeline creation across TAM and SAM
  • Partner with Marketing, Pre-Sales, and channel teams to maximise market coverage
  • Track campaign effectiveness and continuously optimise local GTM tactics
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing regional sales team
  • Set clear expectations for activity, behaviours, and outcomes
  • Develop sales capability through coaching, performance reviews, and the GTM Academy
  • Act as the regional commercial interface with Product, Marketing, Revenue Ops, Legal, Support, and Operations
  • Ensure alignment to international policy and operational standards
  • Maintain strong operating rhythms to remove blockers and accelerate execution
  • Serve as an executive sponsor for key customer relationships
  • Lead strategic account planning and customer visit programmes
  • Support QBRs and senior-level customer conversations that drive value and growth

  • Consistent delivery of regional AMV against plan
  • Strong TAM/SAM pipeline creation with improving conversion rates
  • Accurate forecasting and predictable pipeline performance
  • High sales team quota attainment and rising productivity
  • Effective, scalable cross-functional support models

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven senior sales leadership experience within transport management, logistics, or technology environments
  • Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing sales teams
  • Strong experience developing strategic client relationships and driving new initiatives
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical solutions clearly
  • A competitive, collaborative leader with strong commercial acumen
  • Broad industry exposure across transport, logistics, retail, automotive, or distribution
  • Fluent in French and English
