You will play a key role in growing sales: providing technical product sales support, presentation and demonstration support, proposal writing and analysing/producing sales quotations. This is a home based role, with occasional travel to office locations and customer offices.  There will also be the expectation for some occasional overseas work and we therefore require a flexible attitude to working hours. 

What you will be doing:

  • Providing assistance and product technical expertise to business development and potential clients in the pursuit of successful sales bids
  • Produce and deliver effective and informative Microlise product presentations, ensuring you have an excellent understand of your audience
  • Quickly gain an excellent understanding of our broad product portfolio, expanding on your existing industry knowledge
  • The ability to gain an understanding of the clients requirements and provide the most effective Microlise solution, including attending the clients sites and working closely with clients and their personnel
  • Produce high quality solution proposals and quotations in a timely manner

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience as a Presales Consultant / Delivery Consultant / Customer Success Specialist in a Transport Management Software vendor
  • Demonstrable experience of working closely with Sales Teams, providing technical support and
  • Able to understand customer priorities, technical landscape and operational business requirements
  • Proven presenter with an ability to demonstrate solutions and your understanding into deliverable solutions, in a clear and concise way
  • Confident disposition and able to build effective relationships quickly with key stakeholders
  • Process driven with experience working to deadlines and service level agreements
  • A track record of writing successful presentations and proposals (technical and commercial)
