Giving Back: Microlise Volunteering Day at the RSPCA!
At Microlise, we believe that it’s important to support our communities and make a positive impact where it matters most. That’s why we’re proud to give our employees the opportunity to step away from their laptops and dedicate time to volunteering. Recently, a group of our colleagues spent the day with the RSPCA, which was an experience that left a lasting impression on everyone involved!
The Hard Work
Our day at the RSPCA started with some hands-on work. The centre relies on volunteers to help keep things running smoothly, and we were glad to play our part. From cleaning and tidying the facilities to carrying our general maintenance tasks, the whole team got stuck in! Every small effort contributes to creating a better environment for the animals waiting to find their forever homes.
The Best Reward… Cuddles!
Of course, no day at the RSPCA would be complete without meeting some of the residents! After our hard work was done, we were lucky enough to spend time with some of the adorable puppies and kittens in their care! It was the perfect reminder of why the RSPCA’s mission is so important, as every animal deserves a safe, loving home, and the dedication of the staff and volunteers helps make that possible.
Why it Matters
Community is at the heart of everything we do at Microlise, and our volunteering days are just one of the ways we encourage our teams to give back. Partnering with organisations like the RSPCA not only helps us support the incredible work they do, but also inspire us as individuals to think about how we can help create positive change.
A huge thank you!
We’d like to express our gratitude to the RSPCA team for welcoming us so warmly and for the amazing work they do every single day. Their commitment to animal welfare is inspiring, and we’re proud to have been able to contribute, even in a small way.
This volunteering day was a meaningful reminder of the importance of community, teamwork and compassion, values that we at Microlise hold close… and yes, the puppy cuddles were a great bonus too!
