I am always struck by how much talent there is in our industry.
Silently hauliers and operators of vans and HGVs alike go about their daily business to keep supply lines running, shelves stocked, petrol pumps topped up and every kind of operation you can imagine functioning. There aren’t too many nights in the year when, as an industry, we get the chance to give the best of the best a pat on the back for constantly driving forward to improve.
The Motor Transport Awards have secured their position in the annual calendar as the biggest coming together of road transport professionals in the UK for exactly this reason.
The awards have the singular aim of shining a spotlight on those performing at the highest level and delivering the professionalism for which our industry has become synonymous.
We were proud to be there and even prouder to see many of our customers and partners shortlisted across the 20 categories; some basking in glorious victory, others making it all the way to the final hurdle. Hats off to Road Transport Media for organising an excellent entertaining event on a grand scale.
