With the DVSA’s plans to implement next generation enforcement making headlines, this could be a great opportunity to hear from many of the main influencers in the industry.
Naturally, the agenda is led by a full line-up of RHA speakers, including chief executive Richard Burnett, alongside its experts on policy and the regulatory and employment aspects of compliance.
Also on the agenda, Traffic Commissioner for the East of England, Richard Turfitt, will host a session and we’ll be interested to get his views on HGV licensing and the current challenges affecting the industry.
The One Show’s Dr Sarah Jarvis will present on the complexities of managing driver health and, during the event, an expert with 21 years’ experience in NHS and Private pathology laboratories will give a presentation on drug driving and the law.
Delegates will also hear from Jeremy Moore OBE on the National Driver Offender Retraining Scheme which is aimed at improving driver behaviour nationwide.
And for those with a keen interest in telematics, our Executive Director – Product Strategy, Matthew Hague will be looking into how technology can be used to improve the process of complying with regulations to make positive engagement a pain free experience.
Compliance is a core issue for the haulage industry and this looks like a great event for anyone with a responsibility for compliance in their business. Look forward to hopefully seeing you there.
