Microlise have signed a major deal with one of the largest UK retailers to replace their current Trailer Tracking solution.
The deal encompasses around 4000 trailers across 25 depots in the UK.
The contract also includes Microlise’s Journey Management module which provides visibility of route execution against plan, pre-advice into stores and driver debrief against route & schedule adherence exceptions.
Microlise’s software also includes Microlise’s innovative Reports Portal which the customer then use’s to understand planned versus actual trip mileage & times in order to then target route scheduling improvements. This is in addition to a range of activity and utilisation reports which helps the customer to understand Fleet utility.
Additionally, a variety of new enhancements have been delivered, including: additions to Microlise’s Driver Debrief console, incorporating a new map / playback feature, changes to our Schedule Execution Board – merging in our existing Advanced Journey Planner functionality such that planned trips and new trips can be built and edited seamlessly within the operation.
The first Distribution Centre went live on 20th August with the next 3 sites rolling out on the 27th of August with all sites planned to be live by the 17th November 2012.
