We were delighted to discover this week that Microlise has been named as a finalist in the “Client Event or Experiential Strategy of the Year” category of the Tech Marketing & Innovation Awards 2018. The awards are run by Computing, the UK’s primary source of analysis of business technology.
Our entry related to the Microlise Transport Conference, which most recently took place in May of this year at The Ricoh Arena in Coventry. The conference has grown hugely over the past few years, nearly doubling in size since just 2014, with it becoming the largest road transport conference in Europe in that time.
The recent conference was a great success, with 98% of delegates saying they would recommend the event to others, and 97% rating it as Excellent or Good. We’ll be running it once again next year, on the 15th May at the same venue.
It’s great to see the Microlise Transport Conference gaining recognition in this way, and hopefully we’ll go one better and be named the overall winner during a lunch event later on in June. Fingers crossed!
Whether we secure the trophy or not, the recognition is great testament to the work that goes into organising and running such a large scale event, which is primarily delivered by Microlise’s in-house marketing team but supported widely throughout the business in so many ways. It’s a real team effort with a focus on delivering a valuable and insightful day to those that attend.
