Businesses included are\u00a0Britain\u2019s mid-market private companies with the fastest-growing international sales.<\/p>\n<p>Ranked at 124th, this news follows a significant 2018 for Microlise in which it opened offices in France and Australia; and won the Queen&#8217;s Award for Enterprise: International Trade.<\/p>\n<p>Over the past two years Microlise has grown international sales by more than half, reaching a major milestone in India by selling more than 100,000 vehicle tracking systems to Tata Motors.<\/p>\n<p>A world leader in vehicle fleet management solutions, Microlise also works with 80% of UK supermarkets, 13 of the 15 largest retailers in the UK and major transport operators including DHL and Eddie Stobart.<\/p>\n<p>Microlise appears alongside well-known British brands, including BrewDog, now valued at over \u00a31bn; and Charlotte Tilbury Beauty, founded by the Hollywood make-up artist.<\/p>\n<p>The Midland&#8217;s top-ranked company is fitness clothing brand Gymshark, which is also in the top three nationally.<\/p>\n<p>The average international sales growth for the top 200 companies was 69% a year, to a total of \u00a314.1bn on combined\u00a0total sales of \u00a330.9bn. Together they employ 140,000 staff, having added 38,000 employees to their combined\u00a0workforce in the year.<\/p>\n<p>This year is the 10th anniversary of International Track. Alumni stars include Aston Martin, Specsavers, Fever-Tree, and Lush \u2013\u00a0which featured on the first league table in 2010 with exports of \u00a3151m, and which have now hit \u00a3300m.<\/p>\n<p>Nadeem Raza, Microlise Chief Executive Officer, said: \u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to be recognised amongst such an energised and successful group of businesses. The company was founded and is run by Dr Hamish Stevenson, who also holds an associate fellowship\u00a0at Green Templeton College, Oxford University.<\/p>\n<p>League table criteria\u00a0Companies had to be registered in the UK and be independent, unquoted and ultimate holding companies. They are\u00a0ranked according to the compound annual growth (CAGR) in their international sales over the latest two financial\u00a0years.<\/p>\n<p>Total sales had to be at least \u00a325m and international sales at least \u00a31m in the latest financial year. Companies with\u00a0sales of less than \u00a325m are covered by its sister SME Export Track 100 league table.<\/p>\n<p>The research was carried out by Fast Track principally between August and December 2018. Data on international\u00a0sales can be limited.
